02 / About me
Hi, I’m Leonardo.
I studied Electronic Engineering in Trieste and now study Bioengineering for Neuroscience in Padua. I’m interested in what happens when the electronics and code I work with meet something as complex as the brain.
The projects on this page are part of that learning process: working with signals and images, checking the steps of an analysis, and trying to understand what the results actually tell me. I’m still at the beginning, and I want to keep learning by working alongside people with more experience.
Team sports & coaching
There’s also a part of me that doesn’t show up in a repository. Team sports and coaching have been part of my life alongside studying. They’ve taught me to listen, to explain something differently when it isn’t getting across, and to pay attention to the people I’m working with. Those are habits I want to bring into my working life too.
Working with clients
Working on websites for clients at BeeToo has given me another perspective: the person asking for something may describe it very differently from the person building it. Taking time to understand each other is part of the work. I’d like to bring that same care to a bioengineering team, together with the technical skills I’m developing.
What I’m looking for in an internship
For my internship, I’m looking for a place where I can ask questions, receive honest feedback, and become useful through the work itself. Analysing data, checking a pipeline, or documenting a method are concrete ways I could start contributing. I want to understand how the team works and gradually take on more responsibility.
